Open Sky is an up-tempo swing chart in a post-bop style employing chords with upper extensions and polychords. Inspiration for this chart was drawn from both the modal jazz of the 1960s and the polytonalities popularized by musicians such as the Brecker Brothers, Pat Metheny, and Lyle Mays.
