The Eb Tenor Horn (also known as an Eb alto horn) produces a mellow, rounded tone which is often used as a middle voice to support melodies, and fill the gap above the lower tenor and bass instruments within the brass band. The YAH-203 is a great starting instrument in and of itself, and for students who might be interested in the French horn or upper brass. It’s a very light instrument and quite accessible to young students with small hands. The YAH-203 is available in lacquer or silver plated finish and includes everything you need such as a 37C4 mouthpiece, instrument care package and hard travel case.
