Unleash the Dragon was written for the students in the Penrhos College Junior School Wind Ensemble in 2018. A dragon features on the school crest, and this piece symbolises the students at the college unleashing their inner potential. This piece was written to give younger musicians a chance to play a dramatic sounding piece while also using some chromatic notes on their instrument to begin to extend their musicianship. Use this piece as an opportunity to unleash your inner adventurer!
